Hosted by the Tourism Development Company (TDC), Tourism Park 2012: Mission Expedition Base Camp, Centre of Excellence, Macoya, showcases several major tourist destinations in Trinidad and Tobago, one of these being the Emperor Valley Zoo.
Visitors to the Park can view several of our local wildlife featured at the Zoo’s live animal display including common barn owls, a prehensile-tailed porcupine, agouti, channel-billed toucan, macaws, turtles and tortoises!
The zoo’s exhibit also includes an animal education booth, stage shows and a petting zoo. Here, visitors have an opportunity to interact and learn about several of the zoo’s animal stars including ‘Sammy’, the rainbow boa, ‘Screech’, the tropical screech owl, ‘Saheena’, the red and green macaw and ‘Mustard’, the 12 ft long albino Burmese python!
This event will take place till the 19th August 2012.
